Jammu, October 15 (Daily Kiran): The Jammu–Srinagar National Highway has been reopened for vehicular movement, with two-way traffic now allowed for light vehicles. However, the movement of heavy vehicles remains restricted to one-way only.

According to officials, small vehicles are being allowed to travel in both directions — from Srinagar to Jammu and Jammu to Srinagar. Meanwhile, heavy vehicles are being permitted to move only from Jammu towards Srinagar.
In addition, both the SSG Road and the Mughal Road are open for traffic. On the Mughal Road, light vehicles are being allowed from both directions, while heavy vehicles are being released only from Shopian towards Poonch today.
