Jammu and Kashmirs Lieutenant Governor Launches Holy Gada Yatra for Navratri

Jammu, March 22: On the auspicious occasion of Navratri, Jammu and Kashmir’s Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha visited the Kol Kandoli Temple. He participated in the flag-hoisting ceremony for the ‘Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Ji Prachin Marg Pavit Gada Yatra’ and officially launched the pilgrimage.

Upon his arrival in Nagrota, MLA Devyani Rana extended her Navratri wishes, expressing gratitude for Manoj Sinha’s presence and support for the Gada Yatra. This journey will lead to the Deva Mai Temple, regarded as the second site for darshan of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi. It is a matter of pride that this pilgrimage, initiated 15 years ago, continues to thrive.

Regarding the ongoing conflict involving the U.S., Israel, and Iran, he emphasized that we are citizens of a strong nation. Under PM Modi’s leadership, a robust foundation has been established. He referenced Operation Sindoor, highlighting how it showcased our ability to ensure safety. The world has received the message that under PM Modi’s guidance, any threat to the nation will be met with a strong response.

On the fourth day of Chaitra Navratri, a large number of devotees are flocking to the goddess temples. There is a significant turnout at Shakti Peeth temples, where devotees are patiently waiting in long lines for darshan. The Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Temple, Naina Devi Temple, and Sureshwari Devi Temple in Haridwar are witnessing continuous streams of visitors.

Devotees from across the country are arriving at the Mata Vaishno Devi Temple. A female devotee from Meerut shared her experience, stating that while the temple is crowded, they are prepared to undertake the challenging climb with the blessings of the goddess. She expressed her gratitude for being called to visit during Navratri.
