Jaipur Police Dismisses Four Constables for Absenting from Election Duty

Jaipur Police Commissioner Sachin Mittal dismisses four constables for unauthorized absence during crucial election duty.

Jaipur, October 30 (Daily Kiran) : Jaipur Police Commissioner Sachin Mittal has taken decisive action against four newly recruited constables, dismissing them for prolonged unauthorized absences. Despite clear orders, they failed to report for essential duties, including election-related tasks.

This move underscores the commissioner’s commitment to maintaining discipline within the police force, especially during critical periods like elections. Mittal emphasized that discipline is paramount and that every officer must adhere to official directives and responsibly fulfill their duties.

The absence of officers during such important assignments is viewed as a serious breach of discipline. Mittal pointed out that unauthorized absences disrupt operational efficiency and negatively impact the overall discipline and effectiveness of the police force.

Taking the matter seriously, he ordered the immediate dismissal of the four constables. The formal order was issued by Deputy Commissioner of Police (Headquarters) Anushtha Kalia.

The dismissed constables have been identified as Lokesh Kashyap (Constable No. 10033), Vijay Singh (Constable No. 4049), Mohri Lal (Constable No. 7997), and Bajrang Lal (Constable No. 7346). According to police reports, these constables were absent from duty without official permission and did not attend important assignments, including election duty, despite clear instructions.

This action sends a strong message that negligence, unauthorized absences, and disregard for official orders will result in strict disciplinary measures. The Jaipur Police Commissioner’s office reiterated the necessity of maintaining discipline and accountability among personnel to ensure effective operations and fulfill public responsibilities.
