Israeli Defense Forces Target Hezbollah Commander in Lebanon

Tel Aviv, March 22: The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have reported the elimination of a prominent Hezbollah commander in Lebanon. According to the Israeli military, Abu Khalil Barji was killed in an operation conducted in the Majdal Selm area. The strike also resulted in the deaths of two additional individuals.

As per the information provided by the IDF, Barji had served for several years as a commander in the ‘Radwan Force’ and had recently taken command of its special unit, which was primarily responsible for attacks on IDF soldiers.

In addition, the IDF targeted various Hezbollah terrorist positions across southern Lebanon. Prior to Barji’s death, the IDF announced the killing of Walid Muhammad Dib, a senior official in Hamas’s financial department in Lebanon. Dib was responsible for transferring funds to departments located in Judea, Samaria, Lebanon, and other countries, as well as recruiting terrorists from Syria and Lebanon.

The Israeli military also released footage claiming that nine Hezbollah fighters were killed in southern Lebanon. According to the army, their troops were deployed for a ground operation when armed individuals approached the area. Upon identification, the soldiers opened fire immediately, and the Air Force was notified to conduct an aerial strike.

This coordinated ground and air operation resulted in the death of all nine fighters, with no injuries reported among Israeli soldiers. Reports from the Lebanese health department indicate that over 1,000 lives have been lost in the ongoing conflict, including more than 100 children.
