New Delhi, March 15: Many people are expressing support for U.S. and Israeli actions against Iran. A rally was held outside the White House to show solidarity with the U.S. actions and to protest against the Iranian Khamenei regime.
Demonstrators, who once lived in Iran, told CNN that they view Trump’s actions as an opportunity to help overthrow the Islamic regime that has ruled the country since 1979.
Cyrus Kian, a participant in the rally, shared that he spent the first 25 years of his life in Iran. He stated that if Trump continues to “apply pressure from the sky,” the Iranian people will “end this regime.” Protesters expressed gratitude to Trump for his actions against Iran. Some attendees wore red hats emblazoned with “Make Iran Great Again.”
Reza Mousavi, a volunteer with the organization DC Protests for Iran, mentioned, “The president said help is coming. He made a promise, and he has kept it.”
In addition to calling for the current Iranian regime’s downfall, protesters outside the White House expressed support for Reza Pahlavi, the exiled son of Iran’s last Shah, as the next leader of the country.
Volunteer Marzieh Mirzasalehi stated, “We want our Shah to return to Iran because he is the only one who can help make Iran great again.” Marzieh left Iran in 2007. Many protesters carried American-Iranian flags and posters depicting Pahlavi alongside Trump.
According to Iranian state media, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard issued a warning on Saturday, urging the U.S. to remove its industrial plants from the region. The IRGC also advised civilians to evacuate areas with American shareholders to avoid any potential threats or harm.
This statement comes amid rising tensions following attacks targeting Iranian infrastructure over the past two days. Iranian state media reported that several civilians were killed in attacks on non-military factories in Iran.
