New Delhi, March 12: The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) issued a warning on Thursday, reporting that missiles have been launched from Iran towards the Israeli border. The Home Front Command has sent security instructions via mobile alerts to residents in affected areas, urging them to comply with these directives.
The IDF claimed on Thursday evening that missiles were fired from Iran. The defense system is reportedly active and attempting to intercept these missiles. The IDF has advised people to stay in safe locations.
In a post on the official social media platform ‘X’, the IDF stated, “The defense system is working to counter these threats. In the last few minutes, the Front Command has issued initial instructions via mobile phones to the relevant areas. We ask the public to act responsibly and follow the given instructions. It is essential to enter a safe location upon receiving an alert and remain there until further notice.”
The Israeli Air Force has indicated that it continues to inflict significant damage on the Iranian regime’s aggressive systems. Over 250 drones, launchers, and numerous launch sites have been targeted. Additionally, several commanders and soldiers responsible for launching missiles and drones towards Israel have been eliminated.
In recent days, the Israeli military has maintained ongoing operations against Iran. The missile attack from Iran may be a retaliatory response to these actions. The Israeli Air Force claimed it eliminated Abu D’rar Muhammad, a commander associated with Hezbollah’s missile unit, during an attack on Tuesday. Furthermore, the Air Force has asserted it struck a critical site linked to Iran’s nuclear program.
The Israeli Air Force (IAF) shared on ‘X’ that, “Earlier this week (on Tuesday), the Air Force killed Abu D’rar Muhammad in an operation. He was a commander working with Hezbollah’s missile unit in Beirut and operated on behalf of the Revolutionary Guards.”
According to the IAF, Muhammad played a key role in enhancing Hezbollah’s rocket capabilities and was working to strengthen them following Operation Northern Arrow.
