New Delhi, March 16: Amid the ongoing conflict between Iran and the U.S.-Israel alliance, the Iranian Embassy in India recently shared bank details for humanitarian aid. A new update has emerged from the embassy regarding this initiative.
The Iranian Embassy expressed gratitude to Indian citizens who have shown interest in providing humanitarian assistance to those affected by the ongoing conflict in Iran.
However, the embassy also reported that technical difficulties have made it challenging to receive aid through online banking. In a post on the social media platform X, the embassy acknowledged the issues surrounding digital donations. They stated, “We would like to thank our dear Indian brothers and sisters for their continued support.”
Regarding the technical problems with donations, they wrote on X, “Due to some reported difficulties in transferring funds to the embassy’s account, we sincerely thank our beloved Indian brothers and sisters for their ongoing support.”
The Iranian Embassy has advised potential donors to avoid using Google Pay for contributions. They suggested that those wishing to assist Iran should consider making cash donations directly.
It was noted, “Cash donations can be made directly at the embassy.” Embassy officials also mentioned that they are working to resolve the issues with online transfers.
