Mumbai, May 18: In a significant administrative reshuffle by the Maharashtra government, renowned IPS officer Manoj Kumar Sharma, known for his role in the film “12वीं फेल,” has assumed the position of Joint Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) in Mumbai. Recently, the Maharashtra government executed a major transfer of IPS officers within the state police. In this context, Manoj Kumar Sharma has been entrusted with this crucial responsibility. Kumbhare, also from the 2005 batch, previously held the position of Joint Commissioner in the Mumbai Traffic Police. Additionally, senior IPS officer Krishnakant Upadhyay has taken charge as the Additional Police Commissioner in the Mumbai Crime Branch.
