Indian student reportedly shot and wounded in Ukraine, hospitalised

Kyiv/New Delhi, Mar 4 : An Indian student was reportedly shot and wounded while going towards Lviv on Ukraine’s western border, and is now hospitalized. The Indian government is yet to confirm the news. According to reports on social media, the Indian student Harjot Singh was on his way to Lviv by car when he was attacked and wounded. He was taken by ambulance to Kyiv, near the Indian Embassy, and is seeking help from the Indian authorities. The development comes three days after Indian national Naveen Gyandagoudar, a 21-year-old student from Karnataka, was killed in shelling on February 1 in the eastern Ukrainian city of Kharkiv. RN
