Indian Foreign Minister Joins Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign Ahead of Independence Day

New Delhi, August 13: As the nation prepares to celebrate its 80th Independence Day, the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga‘ campaign is gaining momentum across the country. In this spirit, Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar participated in the initiative on Thursday.

Jaishankar shared a photo of himself waving the national flag at his residence on the platform ‘X’, captioning it with “Har Ghar Tiranga.” The Ministry of External Affairs also reshared his post, stating, “Tiranga in every heart, Tiranga in every home.”

The ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign was launched as part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. Its goal is to encourage citizens to display the national flag at their homes and hoist it on Independence Day.

The campaign aims to transform the relationship people have with the national flag from a formal and institutional one to a personal expression of pride and honor. In an Instagram reel, PM Modi stated, “Celebrate August 15 with pride, honor our freedom fighters, and commit to a developed India. Har Ghar Tiranga, Ghar Ghar Tiranga, Har Man Tiranga.” He added in the caption, “Let’s make Har Ghar Tiranga a celebration in every home.”

On ‘X’, PM Modi emphasized, “Our Tiranga is our pride and a source of inspiration to give our best for the country.” He encouraged everyone to enthusiastically participate in the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ movement and reaffirm their collective resolve to contribute to building a developed India.
