The Indian Air Forces Tarang Shakti 2026 features international participation, including U.S. F-35 fighters, enhancing military cooperation.

Jodhpur, October 2 (Daily Kiran) : The Indian Air Force is currently conducting the multinational air exercise ‘Tarang Shakti 2026’ in Jodhpur. This event sees the active participation of various air forces from around the globe. The primary goal of the exercise is to foster coordination through joint air operations, share experiences, and understand each other’s operational procedures.
A highlight of this year’s exercise is the participation of six U.S. F-35 fighter jets, marking their first involvement in a joint drill with the Indian Air Force. While these aircraft have previously been showcased in India during air shows, their role in ‘Tarang Shakti’ represents a significant military collaboration.
The exercise goes beyond just aircraft operations. It includes professional exchanges among air crews, mission planners, and ground personnel. Participants are also engaging in seminars, industrial visits, tours of heritage sites, yoga sessions, and other activities that promote understanding among the nations involved.
Visuals from the exercise depict a dynamic interaction between air warriors from different countries, as they share experiences and strengthen professional ties. Meanwhile, various fighter jets are seen rapidly flying through the Indian skies, taking part in joint training missions. The spirit of this exercise can be encapsulated in its theme: “Power in Partnership.”
Countries participating alongside the Indian Air Force include Australia, the United States, the United Arab Emirates, France, Germany, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh. The exercise, which commenced on September 26, will continue until October 12, showcasing the collaborative efforts of different nations’ combat, transport, and aerial refueling aircraft.
In the coming days, ‘Tarang Shakti 2026’ is expected to display a vivid picture of fast-paced flights, joint missions, and international military cooperation in the skies. The overarching message is clear: strength lies in partnership, emphasizing camaraderie on the ground, unity in the air, and coordination in every mission.
