IIT Delhi Hosts Special Open House in New Delhi, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru

New Delhi, June 4: The results of the JEE (Advanced) 2026 examination have been announced. Successful candidates are now preparing to enroll in IIT institutions based on their preferences and needs. In light of this, IIT Delhi has decided to hold an ‘Open House’ for these students, providing them with a unique opportunity to learn more about the institute.

IIT Delhi will conduct special ‘Open House’ events in three major cities: New Delhi, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru. The aim of this initiative is to give students firsthand information about the institute’s academic structure, research activities, student life, innovation culture, and future career opportunities.

During the event, students will have the chance to interact directly with current IIT Delhi students, faculty members, and alumni. They can ask questions and gather important information related to various courses, departments, research facilities, and campus life. This will assist them in making informed decisions regarding their higher education and career paths. The program will kick off on June 5 with an online session titled ‘IIT Delhi Calling,’ scheduled for 6 PM.

This session will outline upcoming events, highlight the institute’s features, and provide details about various opportunities. On June 6, a comprehensive interactive program will be held at the IIT Delhi campus in Hauz Khas, from 8:30 AM to 2 PM. This event will be conducted in a hybrid format, allowing students to participate both in person and online.

During this time, senior leadership from the institute will deliver special addresses, and separate counseling sessions will be held for different departments. Students will be able to engage with representatives from their departments of interest and obtain detailed information about the courses. On the same day, IIT Delhi will also engage directly with students in Hyderabad. This event will take place from 9:30 AM to 1 PM, featuring IIT Delhi students and faculty who will answer students’ questions.

The session in Hyderabad will be held at the Savitribai Phule DST Auditorium, Gachibowli. This program is particularly beneficial for students from South India. The final event in the Open House series will occur in Bengaluru on June 7, 2026, from 1 PM to 4:30 PM at the Satish Dhawan Auditorium of the Indian Institute of Science. Here, IIT Delhi students and faculty will also provide detailed insights into the institute’s academic and research activities and address students’ queries.

IIT Delhi believes that after succeeding in JEE (Advanced), the biggest challenge for students is selecting the right institution and course. This Open House program aims to help students make informed decisions through real experiences and direct interactions. The institute congratulates all successful candidates of JEE (Advanced) 2026 and invites them to participate in this special initiative. A shared registration system is available, allowing students to register for any city’s event at their convenience.
