New Delhi, March 15: The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have asserted that last Thursday’s terrorist attack at a synagogue in Michigan, USA, is linked to Hezbollah.
According to the IDF, intelligence reports indicate that the attacker’s brother, Ibrahim Muhammad Ghazali, was an active member of Hezbollah.
The IDF stated that Ibrahim was killed last week in an Israeli Air Force strike. The attack on March 12 targeted a gathering of Jewish worshippers, aiming specifically at the Jewish community.
In a post on their official social media platform ‘X’, the IDF wrote, “Intelligence reveals a connection between the American synagogue attack and Hezbollah.”
They further explained, “Hezbollah commander Ibrahim Muhammad Ghazali was responsible for managing weapon operations for a special branch of the Baidar unit. This unit is accountable for launching hundreds of rockets at Israeli civilians during the conflict. His brother, Ayman Muhammad Ghazali, was the individual who carried out the attack in Michigan last Thursday. Ibrahim was killed in an Israeli Air Force strike on a Hezbollah military structure last week.”
The IDF also claimed that attempts to carry out terrorist attacks within Israel have been directed by the Iranian regime’s intelligence agency.
The IDF noted, “Muhammad Majed Abd al-Salam Taufiq Zidan, a Palestinian terrorist, was directed by the Iranian intelligence agency.”
Zidan was reportedly active as a prominent Palestinian terrorist operating under the Iranian regime’s intelligence agency, attempting to execute terrorist attacks within Israel.
According to the IDF, ongoing tensions with Iran have led to continuous Israeli strikes. The Israeli Air Force (IAF) conducted a significant attack on Iran on Sunday, destroying a drone storage facility.
The IAF reported that the attack caused chaos among Iranian soldiers present at the site. Israeli fighter jets tracked and targeted soldiers fleeing in an attempt to defend themselves after the strike.
