
Jammu, March 16: Dr. Farooq Abdullah, President of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference, along with Vice President and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, have extended their heartfelt wishes to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the auspicious occasion of Shab-e-Qadr and the annual Urs of the revered saint, Sheikh Noor-ud-Din Noorani, also known as Alamdar-e-Kashmir.
In a message shared on the official X account of the National Conference, the leaders emphasized that Shab-e-Qadr is one of the holiest nights in Islam, symbolizing reflection, compassion, humility, and devotion to the Almighty Allah. They prayed that this blessed occasion brings peace, prosperity, and harmony to the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
The leaders noted that Shab-e-Qadr holds great spiritual significance, reminding us of the power of prayer, forgiveness, and compassion. They expressed their hopes for enduring stability in Jammu and Kashmir during this sacred time.
In their post, they stated, “On this special occasion of Shab-e-Qadr and the annual Urs of our beloved saint, Sheikh Noor-ud-Din Noorani (RA), affectionately referred to as ‘Nand Resh’ (RA), we extend warm wishes to the people of Jammu and Kashmir.”
