Houthi Group Claims Missile Attacks on Saudi Oil and Military Sites
The Houthi group has launched missile and drone attacks on Saudi Arabias oil facilities and airports, escalating regional tensions.

Sanaa, October 30 (Daily Kiran) : The Houthi group in Yemen has claimed responsibility for multiple attacks on Saudi Arabia, targeting oil facilities, airports, and a military base. In a statement broadcast on Houthi-operated Al-Masirah TV, military spokesperson Yahya Saree reported that six missile and drone strikes were executed.
Three ballistic missile attacks struck the Ras Tanura refinery and Saudi Aramco facilities in Abqaiq, both located in Saudi Arabia’s eastern province. Additionally, the Rabigh refinery on the Red Sea coast was also targeted.
Saree detailed that two other operations involved missile strikes on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh and drone attacks on King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, also in the eastern province. He claimed these assaults disrupted air traffic in the region.
The spokesperson further indicated that the Houthi group targeted a command center of Saudi military forces in the southern border area of Najran, alleging that the attack resulted in casualties among soldiers and officers. He asserted that these strikes were in retaliation for recent assaults by Saudi Arabia on Houthi-controlled areas in Yemen.
Earlier, a Saudi-led coalition reported that its air defense systems intercepted and destroyed two ballistic missiles launched toward Riyadh by the Houthis. The Houthi group claimed that recent Saudi airstrikes in Yemen had killed 27 individuals in their controlled territories.
These latest attacks occur amid rising tensions between the Houthis and Saudi Arabia, with both sides conducting cross-border strikes in recent weeks. Yemen has been embroiled in conflict since late 2014 when the Houthis seized control of the capital, Sana’a, prompting a Saudi-led coalition to intervene in 2015 in support of the Yemeni government.
