Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Highlights Improved Law and Order for Womens Safety
CM Yogi Adityanath emphasizes enhanced safety for women and thriving businesses in Uttar Pradesh under his administration.

Lucknow, October 30 (Daily Kiran) : Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath recently addressed the law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh, noting significant improvements since 2017. He highlighted that markets now remain open at night, providing new opportunities for businesses. Women, he said, are thriving in a safer environment, showcasing their talents and hard work.
In a post on social media platform X, Adityanath remarked, “The illuminated markets and commercial establishments at night reflect not just business but the trust of traders. The confidence of our women working night shifts symbolizes not only personal achievement but the progress of society as a whole.”
He criticized previous administrations for failing to ensure safety, stating that before 2017, crime and insecurity led to a decline in business activities after sunset. Families were often concerned about the safety of women working late hours.
Under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Adityanath asserted that the “double-engine government” has transformed the situation. The administration’s zero-tolerance policy towards crime has strengthened law enforcement and prioritized women’s safety. He emphasized that today, markets operate late into the night, allowing traders to expand their businesses while women flourish in a secure atmosphere.
Adityanath also pointed out that women’s participation in the labor force has significantly increased from 13% in 2017 to 36% now. This growth reflects the rising confidence, economic strength, and self-reliance of women in the state. He concluded his post by stating that this marks a new identity for Uttar Pradesh, one that moves towards prosperity through safety.
