During these operations, vehicles with tinted windows were stopped for inspection, and drivers suspected of drinking were tested with breath analyzers. Traffic rule violators faced on-the-spot fines.
In the West Vihar area, special security arrangements were made to ensure a peaceful celebration. Police Commissioner Satish Golcha reviewed the ground security measures and interacted with officers on duty. He encouraged the personnel by distributing sweets and praised their efforts in maintaining law and order during the festival.
Authorities reported that additional police forces were deployed in sensitive areas, with continuous patrolling taking place. Similar strict monitoring was observed in the Govindpuri area of South Delhi, where police teams specifically targeted drunk driving.

Just a day before Holi, the Delhi Police heightened security across the city. Senior officials indicated that to ensure a peaceful celebration, additional forces were deployed in sensitive areas, border checks were intensified, and local security preparations were reviewed.
The police also identified declared liquor traffickers and took preventive measures against them. Additionally, strategy meetings were held with local security committees, considering incidents from the previous year.
