Ahmedabad, April 17: In a recent electoral rally in Aravalli district, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel declared that Gujarat is the leading state in job creation across the country. Speaking at the ‘Vikas Sankalp Sabha’ in Sathamba village of Bayad taluka, Patel emphasized that if any state is providing the most employment opportunities, it is Gujarat. He attributed this achievement to sustainable development policies and infrastructure expansion.
He highlighted a corridor project approved at a cost of ₹1,600 crores, stating that such investments will ensure that the pace of development remains unimpeded.
Reiterating the vision of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), he noted that working only during elections is not the party’s style; rather, staying connected with the people and addressing their issues is the hallmark of BJP workers.
Patel further remarked that opposition candidates often disappear from the public eye after elections. He contrasted this with the consistent presence of BJP workers during crises, including the COVID-19 pandemic.
He pointed out that since Narendra Modi became the Chief Minister of Gujarat, elections have increasingly focused on development issues. In today’s technological age, he stressed the importance of being accountable for the work done for the public.
He also mentioned that Prime Minister Modi has paved the way for development across the nation. Reflecting on past challenges, Patel recalled that Gujarat faced difficulties related to water, electricity, and roads. However, he stated that by setting “high goals,” Prime Minister Modi ensured 24-hour electricity and the supply of Narmada water to homes, which has continuously strengthened public trust.
Detailing initiatives for farmers and landowners, Patel announced that the state government has decided to amend land records directly, transitioning land conditions from old ownership to new ownership.
