New Delhi, August 1: The grand Global Book Launch and Discussion Ceremony, along with the prestigious Mahakumbh Amrit Samman-2025, concluded on Saturday at the Constitution Club of India in New Delhi. Esteemed personalities from various fields, including governance, judiciary, literature, education, journalism, spirituality, art, and social service, participated in the event. The aim was to honor exceptional talents while promoting knowledge, culture, Indian civilization, and national values.
The chief guest was Bihar’s Governor, Lieutenant General Syed Ata Hasnain (Retd). Notable attendees included former Supreme Court Justice and former Chairperson of the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) Justice Ashok Bhushan, Patna High Court Justice Sanjay Kumar Singh, former Resident Editor of Hindustan Times, Lucknow, and senior journalist Ratan Mani Lal, renowned film historian and producer Dr. Rajiv Srivastava, Bollywood actress Ameesha Patel, Johns Hopkins University Professor Dr. Shubhranshu Ranjan, international spiritual guru Anant Ashok Maharaj (Jammu Maharaj Ji), and advocate, writer, and social thinker Dr. Govind Kumar Saxena from Allahabad High Court.
The event commenced with the global book launch, featuring the unveiling of works by distinguished authors, scholars, and researchers from India and abroad. Following this, an intellectual seminar discussed significant topics such as Indian culture, literature, education, eternal philosophy, constitutional values, leadership, and nation-building. Speakers emphasized that knowledge, dialogue, and cultural consciousness are foundational to national progress.
In his address, Governor Syed Ata Hasnain described the Mahakumbh as one of the world’s greatest spiritual and cultural traditions, symbolizing India’s eternal civilization, cultural heritage, faith, unity, and humanity. He remarked that books are invaluable treasures of our culture, knowledge, and traditions, connecting the new generation to our heritage.
Justice Ashok Bhushan highlighted the historical and cultural significance of the Mahakumbh, calling it a unique symbol of India’s spiritual tradition. Justice Sanjay Kumar Singh presented the essence of the sacred texts launched during the ceremony, discussing their literary, spiritual, and cultural importance and relevance in contemporary society.
A major highlight of the ceremony was the Mahakumbh Amrit Samman-2025, organized under the guidance of Dr. Govind Kumar Saxena, Dr. Rajiv Srivastava (Swar Sansar and Cultural Society, New Delhi), and Mr. Chandrashekhar (Social Transformation Foundation, Lucknow). This award recognized individuals who made outstanding contributions in literature, education, judiciary, journalism, art, health, research, industry, spirituality, and social service.
