Gandhinagar, April 9: The Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) has officially announced the recruitment for a total of six Accounts Officer (First Class) positions. The online application process commenced on April 1 and will remain open until April 15. Candidates preparing for government jobs who meet the eligibility criteria can submit their application forms on the official website within the specified timeframe.
Applicants must possess a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification or a Cost and Works Accountant (ICWA)/Cost and Management Accountant (CMA) or Company Secretary (CS) or a Master of Commerce (M.Com) or a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) from a recognized institution or university. Additionally, candidates must meet other eligibility requirements and have relevant work experience.
The minimum age for applicants is set at 20 years, while the maximum age is capped at 40 years, calculated as of April 15. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per government regulations.
Selection of eligible candidates will be based on a preliminary examination, written mains examination, interview, and the final merit list. Selected candidates can expect a monthly salary ranging from ₹56,100 to ₹1,77,500, along with additional benefits and allowances.
When filling out the application form, candidates must pay the prescribed application fee online, which is set at ₹100 for General/OBC/EWS categories. Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, SEBC, EWS, PWD, and ex-servicemen candidates will be exempt from the registration fee.
