Gandhinagar, April 9: A significant opportunity has emerged for youth preparing for government jobs. The Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) has officially announced the recruitment of 18 positions for Veterinary Officers, Class-II.

The online application process commenced on April 1 and will close on April 15. Eligible and interested candidates are advised to visit the official website and submit their registration forms within the specified timeframe.

Applicants must possess a degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry from a recognized institution or university. Additionally, candidates should have a basic knowledge of computer applications and a good command of either Gujarati or Hindi.

The maximum age limit for candidates is set at 35 years, calculated as of April 15. However, candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.

Selection of eligible candidates will be based on a preliminary test, interview, and document verification. Selected candidates can expect a monthly salary ranging from ₹44,900 to ₹1,42,400.

When filling out the application form, candidates must pay the prescribed application fee online, which is set at ₹100 for general (unreserved) candidates. Reserved category candidates from Gujarat, economically weaker sections, ex-servicemen, and physically disabled individuals will be exempt from the registration fee. Additionally, candidates from reserved categories of other states will also receive fee concessions.

To apply online, candidates should first visit the official GPSC website. After reaching the homepage, they should click on the active application link for the relevant position. Candidates must then register and log in. All required information must be entered in the form, and documents should be uploaded in the correct size. After paying the registration fee, candidates should submit the form and print a copy for future reference.
