New Delhi, March 18: A golden opportunity has emerged for youth aspiring to kickstart their careers with a renowned institution. South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) has announced a massive recruitment drive for 1,600 positions across various streams of Graduate and Technician Apprentices.
The online application process for these positions has commenced, with the deadline set for March 31. Eligible candidates interested in applying can visit the official website and submit their registration forms within the specified timeframe.
SECL is inviting applications for 1,600 apprentice positions, which include: 200 Graduate positions in Mining Engineering, 20 in Civil Engineering, 30 in Electrical Engineering, 30 in Mechanical Engineering, 10 in Electrical and Telecom Engineering, 25 in Administration (BBA), 100 in Computer Applications (BCA), 50 in Commerce (B.Com), 35 in Science (B.Sc Chemistry), 900 Technician positions in Mining Engineering, 40 in Mining Survey, 40 in Civil Engineering, 50 in Electrical Engineering, 50 in Mechanical Engineering, and 20 in Electrical and Telecom Engineering.
Candidates must possess a relevant 4-year degree (B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc/B.Com/BBA/BCA) from a recognized institution or a 3-year diploma in the relevant engineering branch for Technician positions. The minimum age requirement is set at 18 years, calculated as of March 31.
Selection of eligible candidates will be based on shortlisting, document verification, and a medical fitness test, without a written examination. Selected candidates will receive a stipend ranging from ₹10,900 to ₹12,300 per month, depending on the position.
To apply online, candidates must first register on the NATs 2.0 portal. Then, they should visit the official SECL website. After reaching the homepage, they can click on the active application link related to the announced positions. A new page will open where they can log in after registration. Candidates need to fill in all required information in the form, upload the necessary documents in the correct size, check the form, and submit it. Finally, they should take a printout of the application form for future reference.
