Panaji, April 13 : Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Wednesday ordered a probe into the Chorla-Saquelim road repair work. The Chief Minister also suspended the concerned Assistant Engineer and a J or Engineer till the enquiry is pending. He also asked the officials concerned to inform about the action taken within 45 days. Meanwhile, opposition Congress demanded that the government initiate inquiry into national highway work between Patradevi and Bambolim. “CM @DrPramodPSawant ordered an enquiry of Sankhelim – Chorla ghat road & Suspended Engineers. Will you also initiate enquiry of National Highway from Patradevi to Babolim & its contractor MVR constructions?
