Global Vivo X300 Ultra Surfaces on Geekbench with Lower Scores Than Chinese Variant

Mumbai, March 28: Vivo is set to launch the Vivo X300 Ultra on March 30 in China. The device was initially showcased at MWC in February, and a global release is anticipated soon.

Ahead of its launch, the global version of the Vivo X300 Ultra has appeared on Geekbench.

Identified by the model number V2562, this device is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. It features 16GB of RAM, runs on Android 16, and achieved scores of 3,468 in single-core and 9,644 in multi-core tests.

Interestingly, the Chinese version, model number V2547DA, also appeared on Geekbench recently, posting slightly higher scores of 3,722 in single-core and 11,621 in multi-core tests. The processor, RAM, and OS version are identical to the global model, suggesting that the latter may require further optimization.

Expected Specifications of Vivo X300 Ultra

The Vivo X300 Ultra is anticipated to feature a 6.82-inch 2K BOE display with narrow bezels. The Chinese model will include a 6,600mAh battery, supporting 100W wired and 40W wireless charging. Despite these features, the phone maintains a slim profile at just 8.19mm.

Camera capabilities are a standout feature. The device boasts a 200MP Sony LYTIA-901 main sensor, complemented by a 50MP LYTIA-828 ultrawide sensor, previously used in the X300 Pro. Additionally, it includes a 200MP ISOCELL HP0 periscope telephoto unit and a 5MP multi-spectral sensor to enhance color accuracy.

On the audio front, the X300 Ultra introduces a quad-microphone system and customized speakers. It features a 1697 upward-firing unit and a 0.8cc sound cavity, potentially delivering louder and richer audio output.

Finally, the device is expected to incorporate a high-end 751440 vibration motor for precise haptic feedback. Vivo is also adding a back-tap gesture feature, enabling users to activate shortcuts like silent mode, flashlight, or screen recognition functions.
