According to the Raj Bhavan, C. Joseph Vijay met with the Governor of Tamil Nadu on Friday to submit a letter confirming his election as the leader of the TVK legislative party. He also presented letters of support from the Indian National Congress, Communist Party of India (CPI), Communist Party of India (Marxist), Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK), and the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) to the Governor.
