Gautam Adani Announces ₹60,000 Crore Investment in Bihar During Meeting with Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary

Patna, May 17: Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group, inaugurated the Adani Eye Care Project at Akhand Jyoti Eye Hospital in Masti Chak, Saran, on Sunday. He was accompanied by Preeti Adani, Chairperson of the Adani Foundation.

Following the project launch, Adani visited Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary at his residence. The Chief Minister shared a photo of their meeting on the social media platform X, stating that the renowned industrialist had paid a courtesy visit and assured his support for Bihar’s development.

In a post on social media, Gautam Adani expressed that his meaningful meeting with the dynamic Chief Minister strengthened their belief in the state’s bright future. He emphasized the Adani Group’s commitment to creating jobs and advancing social service initiatives, aiming to provide active collaboration in infrastructure and energy sectors to guide Bihar’s development.

During the event, Adani stated that the group’s goal is to completely transform Bihar’s infrastructure within the next three to four years. They plan to invest between ₹50,000 crore and ₹60,000 crore in the state. He highlighted Bihar’s greatest strength as its hardworking people, their simplicity, and strong determination, adding that being Bihari is a matter of pride.

Adani reiterated the group’s readiness to assist in the state’s development, aiming to provide better employment opportunities for the local population. The Adani Eye Care Project is a joint initiative with Akhand Jyoti Eye Hospital and the Adani Foundation, which will now operate the Adani Center for Eye Diseases and the Adani Training Center for Ophthalmic Sciences.
