The event took place in the Laheri police station area of Nalanda district. Following the incident, police acted swiftly, arresting four suspects and launching a manhunt for others involved.
According to authorities, the party featured a dancer who was hired through an intermediary. Early reports indicate that eight individuals attended the celebration. The victim stated that two men assaulted her during the event, with others present allegedly aiding the attackers.
Police received notification of the crime around 7 a.m. on Sunday, prompting a quick response from the Laheri police team, which initiated an investigation. A formal complaint was filed immediately, and legal proceedings are underway according to the provisions of the Indian Penal Code and the Indian Evidence Act.
