Fire Breaks Out in Charminar Express Coach Near Aler Station

Hyderabad, April 26: A significant incident occurred in Telangana’s Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district on Sunday when a fire broke out in the H5 coach of the Charminar Express. The incident took place near Aler railway station while the train was within the station area. Panic ensued as the fire ignited, causing distress among passengers.

Initial reports indicate that the fire started in the S5 coach, but the exact cause remains unclear. The extent of damage to the coach is also not yet known. Some sources suggest that the fire may have been caused by a short circuit or a technical malfunction, but this will only be confirmed after an official investigation.

As of now, there have been no reports of casualties or injuries. Railway officials have arrived at the scene to assess the situation, and efforts to control the fire are underway. Authorities state that a comprehensive investigation will clarify the full circumstances, and an official statement will be issued thereafter.

Notably, a similar fire incident occurred earlier on April 7 in the Matunga area of Mumbai. A fire broke out at the Central Railway coach repair workshop near Matunga railway station, causing chaos in the vicinity.

According to preliminary information, the fire started in a stationary coach within the workshop and spread rapidly. Smoke was visible from a distance. Upon receiving the alert, multiple fire department vehicles rushed to the scene and managed to extinguish the blaze.

Officials reported that all necessary safety measures were promptly implemented, and the surrounding area was evacuated. Fortunately, there were no casualties in this incident as well. However, a medical team was deployed at the site as a precautionary measure.
