Mumbai, April 22: The prestigious ‘Femina Miss India 2026’ title was awarded to Sadhvi, with Rajnandini Pawar as the first runner-up and Shri Advaita as the second runner-up. In an exclusive interview after their victory, the trio shared how education, discipline, and diverse experiences propelled them to this achievement.
Sadhvi revealed, “I was born in Goa, and my family later moved to Karwar. A significant part of my schooling and higher education took place in Canada, where I studied Economics and International Relations.”
She believes her international education played a crucial role in her success. During her studies, a modeling agency cast her, which sparked her interest in the Femina competition. With encouragement from friends and her own determination, she embarked on this journey. For the competition, she lost 10 kilograms and trained both mentally and physically.
Rajnandini Pawar expressed that reaching this milestone was a childhood dream. “For me, this is not just an end but a new beginning. I recognized my passion for the camera and stage from a young age. I performed on stage for the first time at the age of three. Platforms like ‘Times Fresh Face’ and ‘Miss Maharashtra’ have shaped me. Art and dance have always been my means of expression. It has been my dream to participate in Femina Miss India, a platform that allows me to represent India, for which I will always be grateful.”
Shri Advaita reflected on her journey, stating, “I come from a Tamil-Telugu family, but I was raised in Jammu. My father was a Colonel in the army, which led our family to move across India before settling in Chennai. I want to tell everyone that after traveling so much, life has taught me an important lesson: we should not fear the unknown. We must step out of our comfort zones to grow and improve ourselves.”
She added, “Like many girls, I have dreamed of becoming Miss India since childhood. As I grew up, I pursued medical studies, opened my clinic, and continued to perform dance. However, this dream never faded; it only grew stronger over time. Today, I sit here as one of the winners of Femina Miss India 2026. In today’s world, it is not necessary to work in just one field. I believe that the more you challenge yourself in various areas, the more you shine.”
