New Delhi, April 9: The National Informatics Centre (NIC) has announced a fantastic opportunity for young job seekers. NIC is recruiting for 153 various scientist positions. This includes 12 posts for Scientist-D and 141 for Scientist-C.
The online application process began on April 8 and will remain open until April 30. Eligible candidates interested in applying can visit the official website to submit their registration forms within the specified timeframe.
Applicants must hold a relevant engineering or technology degree from a recognized institution or university, or possess a Master’s degree in Science (M.Sc.), Computer Applications, Engineering or Technology (M.E. or M.Tech), Philosophy (M.Phil), or a related field. Additionally, candidates must meet other specified eligibility criteria, skills, and years of experience as required for the positions.
The maximum age limit for candidates is set between 35 to 40 years, calculated as of November 21, 2022. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.
Selection of eligible candidates will be based on a screening test, merit-based shortlisting, personal interviews, and document verification. The selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹67,700 to ₹2,09,200, depending on the position.
When filling out the application form, candidates must pay the prescribed application fee online. The fee is ₹800 for Unreserved (UR)/OBC/EWS candidates, while Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/PWD and female candidates are exempt from the registration fee.

They will then need to register and log in. All required information must be entered, and documents uploaded in the correct size. After paying the registration fee, candidates should submit the form and print a copy for future reference.
