Ahmedabad, August 22: A golden opportunity is about to slip away for job seekers at the Physical Research Laboratory (PRL) in Nivaranpura, Ahmedabad. The laboratory has issued an official notification inviting applications for several positions, including one Administrative Officer, two Accounts Officers, and two Purchase and Stores Officers.
The online application process for these positions began on July 25 and will close on August 24. Candidates who have not yet filled out the application form are advised to visit the official PRL website and register before the deadline.
Applicants for the Administrative Officer position must possess an MBA from a recognized institution with one year of supervisory experience, or a post-graduate degree with three years of experience (including one year in a supervisory role), or a graduate degree with five years of experience (including two years in a supervisory role). Additionally, candidates should have experience in administrative fields.
For the Accounts Officer role, candidates should have ACA/FCA or AICWA/FICWA qualifications, or an MBA with one year of supervisory experience; or a post-graduate degree in commerce with three years of experience (including one year in a supervisory role); or a graduate degree in commerce/business management with five years of experience (including two years in a supervisory role). Experience in finance and accounting/cost accounting is also required.
Candidates applying for the Purchase and Stores Officer position should have an MBA in Marketing or Material Management with one year of supervisory experience, or a graduate degree with a post-graduate diploma in Material Management (or a related field) and three years of experience (including one year in a supervisory role); or a post-graduate degree with three years of experience (including one year in a supervisory role) or a graduate degree with five years of experience (including two years in a supervisory role) in purchasing and stores management.
The maximum age limit for applicants is set at 35 years, calculated as of the application deadline. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations. Selection will be based on a written examination and interview, with selected candidates earning a monthly salary ranging from ₹56,100 to ₹1,77,500, along with additional benefits and allowances.
All candidates must pay the prescribed application fee of ₹750 online when filling out the application form. However, candidates from the General/OBC/EWS categories appearing for the written examination will only need to pay ₹500, while women/SC/ST/PWD/Ex-servicemen candidates will receive a full refund of the application fee.
