Mumbai, August 22: A fantastic opportunity has emerged for young individuals looking to kickstart their professional careers with a prestigious organization. The Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (Powergrid) has announced vacancies for a total of 270 apprentice positions across various states and union territories for a duration of one year. Official notifications have been released on their website for eligible candidates.
The vacancies include 64 positions for ITI (Electrician), 122 for Diploma (Electrical), 35 for Diploma (Civil), 34 for Graduate (Electrical), and 15 for Graduate (Civil).
The online application process for these 270 apprentice positions will commence on August 25, with the last date for applications set for September 10. Interested candidates should first register on the official portals of ANPIS or NATS. After registration, they can complete the application process on Powergrid’s official website before the deadline.
Applicants must hold relevant qualifications from recognized institutions. For ITI – Electrician, candidates need to have completed a full-time ITI course in the electrician trade. For Diploma (Civil), a full-time, three-year diploma in civil engineering is required. Similarly, a diploma in electrical engineering is necessary for Diploma (Electrical). Graduates applying for Electrical positions must possess a BE/BTech/BSc (Engineering) degree in electrical engineering (full-time, four-year course), while those applying for Civil positions must have a similar degree in civil engineering.
The minimum age for applicants is set at 18 years. Selection of eligible candidates will be based on application screening, merit lists, and medical fitness. Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend ranging from ₹13,500 to ₹17,500, depending on the position.
