ESPN Analysts Discuss Titans Potential Draft Pick of Jeremiyah Love

New Delhi, March 28: As the NFL draft approaches, a significant debate has emerged regarding whether the Tennessee Titans will select Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love with the fourth overall pick.

While some insiders, including Adam Schefter, have expressed skepticism about this possibility, others in the scouting community hold a different view. Recently, ESPN analysts Matt Miller, Jordan Reid, and Field Yates shared their insights on the matter, revealing a range of opinions.

Could the Titans really take Jeremiyah Love at No. 4?
Reid: Love is my top prospect in this draft class, but I doubt it will happen. General manager Mike Borgonzi, who joined the Titans after 16 seasons in Kansas City, tends to prioritize premium positions early. It wouldn’t be surprising to see them select another defensive player for new head coach Robert Saleh.

Yates: They absolutely could. Tennessee’s active offseason has broadened their options, especially after bolstering their defense and signing wide receiver Wan’Dale Robinson to a four-year contract. Love ranks as my No. 2 prospect, and many NFL executives believe he is a strong candidate for the Titans. However, the decision will hinge on Tennessee’s confidence in their current roster.

Miller: Yes, they could and should select Love at No. 4. The Titans have been proactive in free agency, allowing them to enter the draft without a glaring need. Love is a transformative talent who could serve as a cornerstone for their offense, providing quarterback Cam Ward with a dual-threat option. Additionally, I’ve heard that if Love slips past Tennessee, the Giants are likely to pick him at No. 5.

The notion of the Titans drafting Love is not far-fetched. Although general manager Mike Borgonzi brings a Kansas City mindset to the team, he has also emphasized the significance of acquiring a “generational talent.” If Love is viewed in that light, the Titans may find it impossible to overlook him if he is still on the board.
