Chandigarh, April 7: The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has announced a significant recruitment drive at its Terminal Ballistics Research Laboratory (TBRL). The official notification reveals 14 vacancies, including positions for Research Associates.
The available roles include two Junior Research Fellows (JRF) in Mechanical Engineering, two JRFs in Physics, two JRFs in Electronics and Communication Engineering, and two JRFs in Electrical Engineering. Additionally, there are one Research Associate (RA) position in Metallurgy and Materials Engineering, one RA in Physics, and four JRF positions in Computer Science.
Candidates will be selected based on eligibility criteria, which include screening, interviews, and document verification. The monthly salary for selected candidates will range from ₹37,000 to ₹67,000, along with additional benefits and allowances.
To qualify for the interview, candidates must possess a relevant BE/BTech/ME/MTech degree from a recognized university, along with NET/GATE qualification or a PhD. Other specified eligibility criteria and years of experience are also mandatory.
The maximum age limit for applicants is set between 28 to 35 years, calculated as of the interview date. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.
The walk-in interviews will take place between April 21 and April 29 at the Terminal Ballistics Research Laboratory (TBRL), Sector 30, Chandigarh. Candidates are advised to arrive at the venue with all necessary documents as per the scheduled time.
