New Delhi, August 11: BJP MP and former Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has targeted Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.
In a post on the social media platform ‘X’, he stated, “The Congress is consistently spreading lies regarding the interests of students. Rahul Gandhi lacks facts. The opposition leader, who habitually lies, neither wants to come to Parliament nor hear the answers. They only wish to spread their falsehoods and shed crocodile tears.”
Pradhan further elaborated in his post, “Rahul Gandhi and Congress’s baseless accusations against Home Minister Amit Shah reflect their political despair. The government is ready for discussions on every issue in Parliament, but Congress is obstructing the temple of democracy, the Parliament, undermining the interests of the nation and the youth. Their priority is not national interest but their own.”
He pointed out, “When discussions occur in the house, these individuals create chaos outside because they lack the capacity to listen to responses.”
In his social media post, Pradhan remarked, “Congress’s version of democracy is ‘selective’, where violence against youth is tolerated in their governance, while lies and chaos are preferred for political gain. The brutality faced by students in Jharkhand has been witnessed nationwide. However, the question remains, why is Rahul Gandhi silent today, despite holding press conferences on every issue? The youth of the country has understood Congress’s dual character well. There is no place for dictatorship in democracy; this is something Rahul Gandhi and the Congress party, which operates with an Emergency mindset, should comprehend.”
Recently, on August 9, Dharmendra Pradhan spoke at an event at Gangadhar Meher University in Sambalpur, stating, “I believe some individuals have attempted to mislead our Gen Z.” He emphasized that for ministers, this was not a matter of prestige, adding that nearly 200 million Gen Z individuals are the strength that will help India become a ‘Vishwa Guru’ (World Leader).
