Devotees Flock to Kalka Temple on Fourth Day of Chaitra Navratri

New Delhi, March 22: On the fourth day of Chaitra Navratri, devotees across the country worship Goddess Kushmanda. Two major temples in Delhi, Kalka Ji Temple and Jhandewalan Temple, witnessed a significant influx of worshippers.

Devotees began lining up as early as Brahma Muhurta to seek blessings and participate in the morning aarti. The Sunday crowd was notably larger, especially at Jhandewalan Temple, where long queues formed as devotees awaited their turn for darshan. Special arrangements were made to facilitate the smooth flow of visitors. One devotee shared that they have been visiting this temple for 20 years, stating, “Goddess Jhandewalan fulfills every wish, and no one leaves empty-handed.”

Another worshipper remarked on the temple’s beautiful decorations for Navratri and the well-organized arrangements for darshan. “Although the crowd is larger today, we are not facing any difficulties in accessing the temple,” they added.

At Kalka Ji Temple, a large number of devotees also arrived for darshan. Long queues formed early in the morning. A trustee of the temple mentioned, “All arrangements, including volunteers, barricading, lighting, announcements, and CCTV, have been made by the Shri Kalka Ji Temple Management Committee for the benefit of all devotees. The glory of the Goddess is unparalleled. Compared to last time, the crowd is slightly less, but many devotees visited on Saturday.”

Devotees at Kalka Temple experienced divine blessings and offered their prayers for the fulfillment of their desires. A female devotee expressed, “I make it a point to visit the temple every Saturday, and I am coming daily during Navratri. The reverence for Goddess Kalka is immense, and everyone knows about her miracles.” Another female devotee added, “Despite the crowd, the temple administration has made excellent arrangements for darshan.”
