New Delhi, March 31: A significant opportunity has emerged for those aspiring to work in teaching positions at one of the country’s premier central universities. Delhi University (DU) has officially announced the recruitment of 91 faculty positions, including professors.
The online application process for these positions commenced on March 17 and will close on April 6. Eligible candidates interested in applying can visit the official website and submit their registration forms within the stipulated timeframe.
The 91 positions available at DU include 16 Assistant Professors, 13 Associate Professors, and 27 Professors, along with 35 Associate Professors.
Applicants must possess a relevant degree from a recognized institution or university. According to UGC regulations, candidates applying for Assistant Professor roles must hold a Master’s degree along with NET/PhD qualifications. For Associate Professors and Professors, a PhD degree and requisite years of experience are mandatory. Additionally, candidates must meet other specified eligibility criteria.
Candidates filling out the application form will need to pay the prescribed application fee online. The fee is set at ₹2,000 for General candidates, ₹1,500 for OBC/EWS and female candidates, ₹1,000 for SC/ST candidates, and ₹500 for PWD candidates. It is important to note that the registration form will only be accepted after the application fee has been paid.
Selection of qualified candidates will be based on screening, seminars/presentations, interviews, and document verification. The salary for selected candidates will range from ₹57,700 to ₹2,18,200 per month, depending on the position.

Then, register and log in. Fill in all the required information in the form and upload the necessary documents in the correct size and format. After paying the application fee, submit the form and print a copy for future reference.
