
Jaipur, May 1: Delhi Capitals (DC) secured a convincing victory against Rajasthan Royals (RR) by 7 wickets in the 43rd match of IPL 2026, held at Sawai Mansingh Stadium on Friday. With this win, DC climbed to sixth place in the standings, having won 4 out of 9 matches, while RR remained in fourth place after losing 4 out of 10 matches.
Winning the toss and opting to bat, Rajasthan Royals managed to score 225 runs after losing 6 wickets. The team had a shaky start, losing Yashasvi Jaiswal (6) and Vaibhav Suryaanshi (4) within the first 1.5 overs, prompting captain Riyan Parag to stabilize the innings alongside Dhruv Jurel.
The duo formed a solid partnership, scoring 102 runs for the second wicket off 59 balls. Jurel contributed 42 runs from 30 balls, hitting 1 six and 4 fours before getting out. Following this, Parag teamed up with Ravindra Jadeja for the fourth wicket, adding 53 runs in just 28 balls.
