Lucknow, August 24: Danish Ansari, a minister in the Uttar Pradesh government and BJP leader, claims that the Samajwadi Party (SP) will not surpass the double-digit mark in the 2027 elections. He asserts that the party will face significant decline in the upcoming polls. Additionally, he announced that free bus services will be provided to women during the auspicious festival of Raksha Bandhan.
During an interview, Minister Ansari stated, “The people of Uttar Pradesh have recognized the true tactics and real face of the Samajwadi Party. This is why, in 2017, the common public ousted the SP from power. The party’s attitude towards Uttar Pradesh has been negative, leading to growing anger and dissatisfaction among the state’s residents.”
He noted that while many political experts often suggest that an anti-incumbency atmosphere builds against the current government, a different scenario is unfolding in Uttar Pradesh. There is a favorable environment for the current Yogi government, while the opposition party, the SP, is facing backlash. “There is widespread resentment towards the Samajwadi Party. Since 2017, the SP has not played a meaningful role in the state’s development,” he added.
Ansari criticized the SP for obstructing legislative proceedings, stating that they have consistently worked against development issues. “The SP shows no interest in better education or employment. These are just a few of the significant reasons why the public has rejected the Samajwadi Party. In the 2027 elections, the SP will not cross the double-digit mark,” he emphasized.
Meanwhile, Minister Ansari highlighted that the Yogi government has always worked towards empowering women. “Raksha Bandhan is a sacred festival celebrating the bond between brothers and sisters. To strengthen this relationship, the Yogi government has initiated free bus services in the state. This is a commendable step towards empowering siblings and women,” he concluded.
