Havana, March 25 ( /Xinhua) Cuba registered 877 new cases of Covid-19 and zero death from the disease, bringing its total caseload to 1,084,568 and leaving its pandemic death toll at 8,508, the Ministry of Public Health said on Friday. It also said that there were currently 3,486 active cases in the Caribbean country. The province of Ciego de Avila recorded the highest number of infections, with 158, followed by Santiago de Cuba with 115, and Camaguey with 93. About 9.9 million of Cuba’s 11.2 million people have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19, while 6.1 million have also received a booster shot. /XINHUA ACL0708
