Shortly after the post went live, users began sharing screenshots of the ‘edit history.’ These screenshots revealed that the original post included a line stating, “Draft – Message from the Prime Minister of Pakistan.”
According to a report by The Daily Beast, it appears that the ‘draft’ label was mistakenly included in the original post and was later removed in a subsequent edit. This incident has fueled speculation that the Pakistani Prime Minister may have ‘cut and pasted’ the message, raising questions about who actually wrote it.
Users on social media also pointed out that several senior U.S. officials were tagged in the post, including Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and Secretary of State Marco Rubio. This led to further speculation that the post was part of a coordinated effort. Questions were raised about why a Prime Minister’s team would include their own country’s name in a draft message.
