
Ranchi, August 18: Congress leaders, including Jharkhand Congress in-charge K. Raju and state president Keshav Mahato Kamlesh, met with Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Tuesday to express gratitude for the decisions made during a special cabinet meeting regarding exam reforms.
The meeting took place at the Chief Minister’s residential office on Kanke Road. Discussions centered on the resolutions taken during the cabinet meeting held on August 17 at the Jharkhand Secretariat, which aimed to benefit students and candidates. The Congress leaders welcomed the government’s decisions and thanked the Chief Minister for his efforts.
They highlighted that the cancellation of exams organized by TDPL and other decisions are significant steps in favor of students and candidates. These measures will provide relief to affected candidates and alleviate uncertainties about their futures.
After the meeting, Minister Deepika Pandey Singh stated that Congress leaders expressed their gratitude for the ‘tough decisions’ made by the Chief Minister. She emphasized that there was an in-depth discussion with the Chief Minister regarding the timely fulfillment of promises made to students.
Chief Minister Hemant Soren acknowledged the Congress leaders’ appreciation and reiterated that the state government’s goal is to protect the interests of Jharkhand’s youth and students. He assured that the government will continue to make sensitive and serious decisions regarding matters related to the future of the youth. The meeting also covered various issues related to ongoing development projects, public welfare, and student welfare in the state.
Congress leaders affirmed that the state government prioritizes the future of the youth and public interest. The meeting was attended by Ministers Irfan Ansari, Deepika Pandey Singh, and Shilpi Neha Tirkey, along with MLAs Kalpana Soren, Rameshwar Oraon, Pradeep Yadav, Kumar Jaymangal, Rajesh Kachhap, Ramchandra Singh, Naman Viksal Kongaadi, Bhushan Bara, and Mamta Devi, among others.
