Congress Leaders Extend Warm Wishes to Parsi Community on Navroz

New Delhi, March 20: This year, the Parsi community in India is celebrating Navroz on Friday. On this occasion, several Congress leaders, including Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge, extended their greetings to the Parsi community, wishing them prosperity, good health, and unity in society.

Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, took to social media platform X to congratulate the Parsi community. He wrote, “Happy Navroz! May this festival bring hope, prosperity, and happiness to all.”

Similarly, senior Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge also posted on his X account, stating, “Warm wishes on the auspicious occasion of Navroz, symbolizing the arrival of the Parsi New Year. Navroz represents renewal, hope, and new beginnings, and is considered a symbol of peace and prosperity. May this special occasion bring happiness, good health, and strengthen the spirit of unity in our society.”

Congress leader Sachin Pilot also shared his wishes for the Parsi New Year on social media, writing, “Heartfelt wishes for the Parsi New Year ‘Navroz’.”

It is noteworthy that Navroz is a significant day for the Parsi community. It marks the beginning of their New Year and signifies the first day of spring. Additionally, Navroz indicates the end of winter and the change of seasons. This day is celebrated in a very special way.
