Cockroach Peoples Party Claims Success of Wave the Flag Campaign Amid Arrest of Founder

The Cockroach Peoples Party celebrates their Wave the Flag campaigns success in New Delhi, despite the arrest of their founder, Abhijit Dipke.

New Delhi, October 16 (Daily Kiran) : The Cockroach People’s Party has announced the success of its ‘Wave the Flag’ campaign, which took place on October 16 in Central Park, Connaught Place, New Delhi. The party reported a substantial turnout of citizens who proudly waved the national flag during the event.

In a press release, the party stated, “The ‘Wave the Flag’ campaign was successful at Central Park, Connaught Place. Despite the illegal detention of our founder, Abhijit Dipke, a large number of citizens gathered to raise the national flag with pride and courage.”

The party alleged that police detained Dipke from his residence while he was taking a walk before heading to the event. The release claimed, “Several hours after his arrest, the police have yet to inform his family and legal team of his whereabouts.”

The party emphasized that the gathering demonstrated that the arrests of its leaders would not deter the public from taking to the streets. Citizens are demanding improvements in the functioning, appointments, and conduct of the Election Commission of India.

Additionally, the party claimed to possess video evidence showing police brutality against youth, students, and peaceful citizens carrying the national flag. They issued three demands: the disclosure of Abhijit Dipke’s location, his immediate release, and reforms in the electoral system.

Meanwhile, social media is abuzz with posts regarding Neha Bora, the national president of the party. A post from her ‘X’ handle read, “Where is Neha? The Delhi police refused to meet with a delegation of lawyers and civil society members demanding her release. Many have gathered at Parliament Marg police station to call for Neha’s immediate release!”

Another post stated, “She was not even allowed to meet her lawyers and was hastily taken away in a car with blacked-out windows. Why is this happening? End Neha’s illegal abduction! Release her immediately!”
