CM Yogi Slams Sapa MP for Indecent Remarks Against PM Modi

Lucknow, May 12: A member of the Samajwadi Party from Uttar Pradesh made an indecent remark about Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday. In response, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath strongly condemned the MP’s statement.

On his social media account, ‘X’, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated that the unparliamentary comment made by the MP against the world’s most popular leader, PM Modi, is not only shameful and unacceptable but also a serious blow to the democratic values of India.

He emphasized that the Sapa MP’s actions reflect political immorality, ideological bankruptcy, and a lack of respect for public decorum.

The Chief Minister described the MP’s remarks as an insult to the mandate and trust of 1.45 billion citizens, as well as to the dignity of Indian democracy.

Yogi warned that the public would respond to such indecent behavior in due time. It is noteworthy that Sapa MP Ajendra Singh Lodhi made these remarks during a protest, where he also criticized the central government’s policies, inflation, smart meters, and fuel prices. Following the viral video of his statement on social media, political controversy intensified.

BJP state president Pankaj Chaudhary reacted sharply, stating that the use of derogatory language by the Sapa MP against the Prime Minister is highly condemnable. He noted that the Prime Minister is respected not only in India but across the world, and using vulgar language against him is an affront to democratic values and Indian traditions.

Chaudhary further asserted that the filthy language used by Sapa MP Ajendra Singh Lodhi proves that the Sapa is a party of ‘goons’ and ‘abusers.’ He emphasized that the Prime Minister represents the pride of the entire nation, and using slurs against him is not only an insult to 1.4 billion Indians but also a severe blow to the dignity of our democracy.
