
Beijing, May 6: Recent figures released by the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing reveal that China’s total social logistics revenue reached 96.4 trillion yuan in the first quarter, marking a year-on-year increase of 6.2%. This growth rate has improved by 0.5% compared to the same period last year. The logistics industry has made a strong start this year, with a relatively rapid increase in demand and a consistent strengthening of growth resilience.
Notably, the logistics of industrial goods has remained robust, with high-level manufacturing playing a leading role in this growth. In the first quarter, the logistics revenue for industrial goods rose by 5.8% year-on-year, contributing 80% to the overall increase in social logistics revenue. The demand for logistics in the manufacturing sector accounted for more than 80% of this growth.
