Chinas Railway Investment Surpasses 200 Billion Yuan in First Four Months

Beijing, May 13: According to the China State Railway Group, railway construction has progressed efficiently from January to April this year. Nationwide railway real estate investment reached 200.8 billion yuan, marking a 3.2% increase compared to the same period last year. This investment has played a significant role in accelerating regional economic and social development.

A relevant official from the construction department of the China State Railway Group stated that since the beginning of this year, the group has focused on promoting major national strategies and regional economic and social development. They have fully leveraged national support policies and capitalized on the golden opportunities for construction in the spring, thereby accelerating railway planning and construction.

At the same time, the China State Railway Group has organized all participating units to coordinate construction resources, optimize construction organization, strengthen safety and quality management, and promote positive progress in major project construction.

Looking ahead, the China State Railway Group plans to fully implement key railway construction tasks outlined in the “15th Five-Year Plan.” They aim to promote railway planning and construction in a scientific and systematic manner, continuously improving the scale and quality of the railway network. This initiative will expedite the development of a world-class modern railway network and provide robust support for high-quality economic and social development in the country.
