
Beijing, April 28: The Chinese Ministry of Culture and Tourism hosted a media promotion conference in the capital, Beijing, on Monday, marking the upcoming Labor Day celebrations in 2026.
The current consumption week will commence at the end of April and continue through the Labor Day holiday. The Ministry plans to implement a series of generous measures in collaboration with relevant enterprises and organizations.
During the media conference, the National Climate Center of the China Meteorological Administration released a travel map for flower viewing during the Labor Day holidays. Sinopec and China Mobile also launched promotional activities. The Industrial and Commercial Bank and Agricultural Bank offered discounts on shopping.
Additionally, the Chinese Tourism Attractions Association plans to host nearly 200 events at various tourist sites during the Labor Day holidays. Municipalities across different regions are expected to organize approximately 13,700 diverse cultural and tourism programs and issue consumption vouchers worth 284 million yuan.
