Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami Allocates ₹4.42 Crore for Development Projects

Dehradun, May 6: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has approved a financial allocation of ₹4.42 crore for various development projects in the districts of Champawat, Uttarkashi, and Pithoragarh. While approving the proposals related to these projects, the Chief Minister instructed the concerned departments to ensure prompt and quality implementation.

In the Lohaghat assembly constituency of Champawat district, ₹74.25 lakh has been sanctioned for the beautification of the Bhimgarh Temple seal, with an additional ₹29.70 lakh approved. For the installation of street lights along the travel route from Kankrali Tanakpur to Maa Purnagiri Dham, ₹5.00 crore was initially sanctioned, with ₹2.00 crore now approved.

In the Purola assembly constituency of Uttarkashi district, ₹1.43 crore has been approved for the leveling and beautification of the premises of Shri Someshwar Mahadev Temple at the Nyaya Panchayat headquarters in Jakhol/Fitari. Following the release of the first installment of ₹10.00 lakh, the remaining ₹1.33 crore has been sanctioned, with 60% of this amount, ₹80.06 lakh, now approved.

Additionally, through the District Level Executive Committee (DLEC) of Pithoragarh, the Chief Minister has sanctioned ₹1.32 crore as administrative and financial approval for the first phase of the “One District-One River” scheme, aimed at the rejuvenation of the Gurghatia River in Pithoragarh, which has a total allocation of ₹6.59 crore.
