Chaos Erupts During Buffalo Auction at Lucknow Municipal Corporation, FIR Filed Against SP Workers

Lucknow, August 25: A significant disturbance occurred during a buffalo auction at the Lucknow Municipal Corporation premises. An FIR has been filed against several members of the Samajwadi Party (SP) following protests that disrupted the auction process. The complaint was lodged at Hazratganj police station, naming ten individuals, including SP worker Anis Raj, and approximately 50 unidentified participants.

According to police reports, the incident unfolded when SP workers initiated a protest, blocking roads and obstructing government operations during the auction. The complaint was filed by Pradeep Kumar, the in-charge of the Lalbagh outpost, leading to the registration of the FIR.

The police have invoked several sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), including sections 3(5), 285, 190, and 223, in this case. Authorities are currently working to identify both the named accused and the unidentified individuals involved in the protest.

This incident has taken on a political dimension, reflecting ongoing tensions in the region. The police have stated that they are proceeding with appropriate actions against those who disrupted public order and government activities. The investigation is ongoing.
